The Government remains committed to entering into collective agreements with all outstanding bargaining units for this round of negotiations, including those represented by the PSAC. “We are pleased to have reached another agreement with the Public Service Alliance of Canada and are encouraged by the progress we are making in our negotiations. Once again, this interim agreement shows that our government remains committed to agreements that are aware of today`s economic and fiscal environment, fair to workers and reasonable to Canadians. The following notices provide the Staff Community with a policy interpretation, guidance and updates on collective agreements, classification, compensation and labour relations, as well as the guidelines of the Common National Council (JNC). The three-year interim agreement applies to nearly 10,000 federal agents represented and not represented in the Technical Services Group (TC). The interim agreement would increase the economy and the group overall by 6.64 per cent over three years until July 2021, the smallest increase recorded last year, in line with the current economic environment. New provisions on care leave, extending parental leave and up to 10 days of domestic violence leave are also included in the interim agreement.
